Brief description of call: This teleconference will focus on opportunities for U.S. firms in the rapidly growing healthcare sector in Oman. Participants will receive an overview of doing business under the U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement, as well as information on specific upcoming opportunities related to the planned new $1bn+ medical cities in Muscat and Salalah as well as specialized cardio, kidney, diabetes, etc. centers nationwide. Participants will have the opportunity to pose questions directly to CDA Laura Malenas, Post’s Commercial staff, and senior decision-makers from the Ministry of Health and private Saudi investment group Apex during the Q&A portion of the call.
