Joint Statement Concerning an Air Transport Agreement Between the United States of America and Israel
Following cordial and productive consultations, representatives of the United States of America and Israel reached agreement, ad referendum, on the text of a new Air Transport Agreement which is attached hereto ("the Agreement").
The Agreement will strengthen the long-standing friendship between the two countries and open new opportunities for expanded air transportation services, benefiting travelers, airlines, and shippers of both countries. It is intended that the agreement will be signed and will enter into force in the near future.
