Joint Statement
The Governments of the United States of America and the Kingdom of Morocco today announced that they have initialed a bilateral Open Skies air transport agreement. The agreement establishes a modern air transport relationship between the United States and the Kingdom of Morocco and will replace the 1970 Air Transport Services Agreement between the two countries.
Conclusion of an Open Skies agreement will deepen the economic relations between Morocco and the United States. In particular, the agreement will facilitate air travel and promote trade, investment, tourism and cultural contacts between the two countries.
