The Embassy of Mexico presents its compliments to the Department of State and makes reference to the diplomatic note dated July 6, 2006, through which the Embassy informs the U.S. government that it has complied with the internal procedures necessary to implement the Agreement between the Government of the United Mexican States and the government of the United States of America which Amends the Convention on Air Transport of August 15, 1960, Amended and Extended, signed in Mexico City on December 12, 2005.
In this regard, the Embassy has the honor to inform the Department of State that the Mexican government has complied with the internal legislative requirements to implement the aforementioned Agreement and will, therefore, enforce it as of the date of this notification, in accordance with Article 2.
The Embassy of Mexico avails itself of this opportunity to reiterate to the Department of State the assurances of its highest consideration.
