Note to Mexico on Ratification of Air Transport Agreement

The Department of State refers the Embassy of Mexico to the Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the United Mexican States amending the Air Transport Agreement of August 15, 1960, as amended and extended, which was signed at Mexico City on December 12, 2005 (the "Agreement"). Reference is made also to Article 2 of the Agreement concerning its entry into force.

The Department of State is pleased to confirm that the Government of the United States of America has completed its necessary internal procedures for entry into force of the Agreement . Accordingly, the Agreement, shall enter into force on the date of the note from the Embassy of Mexico confirming that the Government of the United Mexican States has also completed its necessary internal procedures for entry into force of the Agreement.
