CANCELLED -Second WRC Press Teleconference

GENEVA, Switzerland – The U.S. Delegation press teleconference scheduled for Friday, November 2, 2007 at 1:00 p.m EDT/6 p.m. Geneva time has been cancelled.

Cancellation of the press teleconference for this week, the second week of the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC), was made necessary by the scheduling of high-level meetings at the Conference. Ambassador Richard M. Russell, Head of the U.S. Delegation, has announced, however, that weekly press teleconferences will resume during the next two weeks, including at the conclusion of the Conference.

A revised schedule for the final two press teleconferences will be released early next week.

For details, please contact John Alden, media relations liaison for the U.S. Delegation, at ja@ftidc.com, or call 202-725-2494.
