Yugoslavia: USTDA Grant To Support FATCA Project Management Training
Media advisory issued by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) announces a grant signing ceremony to be held Thursday February 6th at 11 a.m. at the Federal Air Traffic Control Authority (FATCA) offices in Belgrade. The grant to be signed represents a continuation of USTDA's commitment to assist the Yugoslav Government in the development of its civil aviation sector. The Director General of FATCA, Mr. Nikola Stankov, and USTDA Regional Director for Europe, Mr. Ned Cabot, will sign the Grant Agreement.
The $190,985 USTDA technical assistance grant will build capacity in the areas of project management, acquisition management, and engineering management at the Project Management Office of FATCA in Yugoslavia. The goal is to prepare FATCA for the planned implementation of a modernized Air Traffic Control (ATC) system. This assistance reflects the specific project needs of FATCA for implementing the project. The MITRE Corporation of McLean, VA, will provide this assistance.
