The Embassy of the United States'of America

presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign

Relations, Bureau of Sovereignty and Borders of the

Republic of Ecuador and has the honor to refer to its

note No . 33975/2002 DGSL and to the Embassy's note No .

069/02 regarding further extension of application of

the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of

the United States of America and the Government of the

Republic of Ecuador, signed at Washington September

26, 1986 .

The Embassy wishes to inform the ministry that

the proposals contained in the Ministry's note are

acceptable to the Government of the United States of

America and that the Embassy's note No . 069/02, the

Ministry's note No . 33975/2002 DGSL and this note

cpnstitute an agreement between the United States of

POL/ECON SECTION

America and the Republic of Ecuador which shall enter

into force on this date .

The Embassy of the United States of America takes

this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign

Affairs the assurances of its highest consideration .
