The U.S. and Brazil are the two largest democracies in the Hemisphere and face many of the same challenges as globalization gathers speed and intensity. The U.S.-Brazil Economic Partnership Dialogue (EPD) provides our governments with a venue for overarching cooperation, led by our respective Foreign Ministries, on strategic economic issues not being discussed in other bilateral fora. Areas of discussion include civil aviation, import safety, social inclusion, development cooperation, innovation, telecommunications, agriculture, infrastructure and investment.
