Before Your Online Proposal Submission: A Submission Checklist
(Note: This checklist should only be used by applicants who are submitting full proposals.)

Did you follow all instructions included in the PSIs?
Did you proofread your final documents?
Did you remove all track changes?
Does your submission include the following documents?

Proposal:

___ Executive Summary (1 page, double spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font) that includes:

___ countries of proposed program activities

___ name and contact information for the project’s main point of contact

___ program objectives and expected results

___ one-paragraph statement of work

___ total funding requested

___ program length

___ how the program is innovative, sustainable, and will produce impact

___ Proposal Narrative (10 page limit, single spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font, pages numbered) that (or refers DRL to an attachment that):

___ addresses solicitation criteria

___ includes a detailed monthly timeline that includes target dates for completion of each of the proposed project activities

___ provides proposed short and long-term project goals including an explanation of how program activities support each goal

___ includes roles and responsibilities of primary staff

___ includes a comprehensive evaluation plan that includes outputs and outcomes and both qualitative and quantitative targets for each. Evaluation plans must be included in the narrative or as attachments.

Budget:

___ Excel Spreadsheet that includes:

___ Summary Budget

___ Detailed Line Item Budget that contains three columns for each line item: DRL Request, Cost-Share, and Total (Include a three-column spreadsheet even if no cost share is being offered)

___ Detailed Line Item Budget for all subgrantees (if applicable)

___ Budget Narrative that explains all items included in the detailed line item budget (not to exceed six pages; include specifics, such as % of office rent and salaries for program staff being charged to the grant; unit costs of travel and/or workshops; source and description of cost share, etc.)

Attachments (if applicable):

___ Table of Contents (including budget and addenda. All documents should be enumerated.)

___ Detailed Work Plan (that includes target dates for the completion of all program activities

___ Detailed Monitoring and Evaluation Plan that includes indicators, outcomes, targets, and methods for verifying progress for all program activities and goals

___ Description of qualifications and/or CVs for all staff charged to the grant

___ Organization’s most recently completed NICRA agreement in pdf format

___ Sample training materials or workshop agendas
