Charles Ryandikayo has been indicted for genocide, crimes against humanity and other serious violations of international humanitarian law. During the Rwandan genocide, Ryandikayo was the manager of a restaurant in the Mubuga sector of Gishyita commune. Ryandikayo is accused of instigating a massacre at the church of Mubuga, helping direct members of the Gendarmerie nationale, communal police, Interahamwe militias, and armed civilians to attack the church and kill those inside. Ryandikayo is also accused of directly participated in the killings.
To bring Ryandikayo to justice, the United States Government is offering a reward to individuals who furnish information leading to his arrest, transfer, or conviction.
