St. Andrew's College is an independent, interdenominational, coeducational preparatory and secondary school, founded in 1894, which offers an educational program from kindergarten through grade 12 for students of all nationalities. It is situated on a 12.72-acres (15.15 hectares) site in Booterstown, County, Dublin. The school year comprises 3 terms, extending approximately from late August to early June.

Organization: St. Andrew’s College is a limited liability company called St. Andrew’s College Dublin, Ltd., which is operated by an 8-member Board of Governors. The members of this Board appoint the headmaster, who is the chief executive of the College. He is advised by the board of St. Andrew’s College Management Co. Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary company of SACD, whose 15 members include representatives of the Presbyterian Church, parents, the Past Pupils Union, teachers, the international community and all 8 members of the Board of Governors. Board members are elected to serve for periods of two years. The headmaster is an ex-officio member of the Board of Management. The College is recognized by the Department of Education and Science of the Republic of Ireland.

Curriculum: The curriculum is designed to provide a liberal, balanced and comprehensive education. A program comprising 30 academic subjects and a wide variety of sports and recreational activities are offered. The majority of students take courses leading to the Irish Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations, while others follow the International Baccalaureate program. Special Needs and EFL classes are also provided. The Transition Year Program (Grade 10) offers a multi-faceted course of study intended to help students choose the most suitable subjects for the Leaving Certificate. The School is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the European Council of International Schools.

Faculty: In 2008-2009 school year, there are 116 full-time and 24 part-time faculty members including 3 U.S. citizens, 117 host-country nationals, and 20 third-country nationals. The mixture of nationalities adds to the international character of the College.

Facilities include 62 classrooms, 8 tutorial rooms, 5 laboratories, 6 art rooms, a home economics room, 2 libraries, 2 assembly halls, a large dinning hall, a modern sports hall and an administration centre. The Music Department is housed in a separate on-campus building. In 1993 a dedicated Sixth Form Centre was opened. It comprises 4 large classrooms, an adjoining private study room and an open area for 6th Year interaction and activities.
