Portuguese is taught as both a native and a foreign language. CAISL graduates go on to colleges and universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and around the world. Special Services to support mild learning disabilities are provided. Psychological testing and private remedial assistance are available in the community. CAISL is an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and offers the IB Diploma Program for the last two years of high school. CAISL is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS) and is licensed by the Portuguese Ministry of Education (ME).
