The Anglo-American School of St. Petersburg, a branch of the Anglo-American School of Moscow, is an independent, coeducational day school, which offers an educational program from kindergarten through grade 12. The school year comprises 4 quarters extending from August 21 to October 26, from November 6 to January 25, from January 28 to April 3, and from April 14 to June 19.

Organization: Responsibility for the School, as a branch of the Anglo-American School of Moscow, rests jointly with the U.S., British, and Canadian Ambassadors. The School is governed by the 9-member Board of Trustees of the Anglo-American School of Moscow. A local Advisory Committee, comprised of 3 consul generals and members of the community, assists the principal in St. Petersburg. The School is not incorporated in the United States.

Curriculum: The curriculum is similar to that of U.S. general academic public schools. Courses are supplemented as necessary to meet British requirements. Instruction is in English.

Faculty: In the 2007-2008 school year, there are 21 faculty members including 10 U.S. citizens, 7 host-country nationals, and 4 third-country nationals.

Enrollment: At the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year enrollment was 123, including 17 U.S. citizens, 7 host-country nationals, and 99 third-country nationals.

Finances: In the 2007-2008school year, the School's income derives from tuition. Annual tuition rates are as follows: Kdg.-grade 5: $17,900; grade 6-12: $18,800. The School also charges a bus fee of $2,000 per school year, which is optional. A one-time application fee of $400 is charged for new students. All fees are payable in U.S. dollars. (All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars.)
