The U.S. Department of State is proud to announce that Edgesource Corporation is the recipient of the 15th Annual Department of State Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award. Edgesource is a Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business with a successful track record of working with managers and translating the often complex technology requirements into understandable and ultimately highly useful tools that meet the needs of the department.
The purpose of the award is to recognize significant and outstanding contributions that small businesses, including those small businesses owned and controlled by minorities and women, make to the Department of State. The "Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award" demonstrates the highest degree of excellence in performance of Department of State contracts.
The following small business firms received Awards for Excellence: Facilities Development Cooperation (FDC), Acuity, Inc., Sigma Information Management Corporation, ActioNet, Inc., and Tidewater, Inc.
