Bureau of Oceans and International Environment and Scientific Affairs (OES) Room 7821, HST Bldg., OES administers grants related to the conduct of research and promotion of international cooperation on environmental and other scientific issues. Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR/EX/GSO) Room 2248, HST Bldg., Ms. Ericka Young (202) 647-2503 The Bureau of Intelligence and Research administers grants for the provision of stable, long-term financing for advanced research; graduate and language training public dissemination of research data (methods and findings), and contact and collaboration among government and private specialists. Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) Room L303, SA-1, Ms. Emily Krantz (202) 663-1022 PRM administers cooperative agreements for the provision of food, health and training activities and medical services for refugees in camps of first asylum. Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) Mr. David Whitten (202) 619-4949 The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs administers a broad range of international exchange programs authorized by the Fulbright-Hays Act (Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961). Programs include the Fulbright Program for American and foreign students, scholars and teachers, and related academic exchange programs; International Visitor Program brings potential leaders from other countries to the U.S. o consult with their counterparts for broader exposure to American society and values; and Citizen Exchange Program provides grant support to the exchange program of American educational, cultural, and non-profit organizations.
