The Federal Cybersecurity Training Events (FedCTE) program is hosted by the Department of State's Diplomatic Security Training Center with financial support from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
FedCTE provides live, one-day, 8-hour training sessions. Training focuses on current cyber threats and strategies to defend information systems.
This program offers information security practitioners multiple benefits:
Instructor-led cybersecurity training in virtual and on-site classrooms.
Virtual classes that are accessible worldwide.
Laboratory exercises with cybersecurity tools.
Group discussions with cybersecurity professionals who operate in different networks and environments.
Courses may be recognized by other institutions for Continuing Professional Education (CPEs) credits.
No per-seat cost to the parent agency.
