Cybersecurity Training

In July 2010, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security certified the Diplomatic Security Training Center as an Information Systems Security Line of Business (ISSLOB) program and a Center of Excellence.

The Center of Excellence designation highlights the Training Center’s capabilities as a “shared-service center” for cybersecurity and Tier II information assurance role-based training.

The ISSLOB certification has enabled the Training Center to offer its low-cost, customized, role-based training to other government agencies and departments through interagency agreements. The DS Training Center also offers other types of cybersecurity training at no cost.
