Kong, James

Share

James Kong is wanted by the Diplomatic Security Service for passport fraud and aggravated identity theft.  Mr. Kong was discovered when he submitted two applications for a U.S. passport in 2010 under the stolen identity of Mark Edward Bailey and Thomas Yoon Young Oh.

Kong was last seen in Malaysia, where he has significant influence in his local community.  Previous attempts were made to arrest Kong; however, given his influential status within the Malaysian community, he was arrested and then later released on bond within six hours.  Kong is very computer savvy and has made millions of dollars by targeting support centers of different computer companies to steal users’ identities.

James Kong is also wanted by the United States Secret Service (USSS) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for money laundering, wire fraud, bank fraud, and computer fraud.  He is also listed on the USSS Most Wanted.

Kong is still believed to be in Malaysia, but has ties to Florida and California.  He is 5’9”, approximately 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  If you have any information on James Kong, please contact us by calling toll-free 1-855-TIP-4-DSS or emailing us at  DSSMostWanted@state.gov.
