This reference guide is an outcome of the workshop titled, "Advocating for Your Special Needs Child: Special Education Overseas Workshop" held by the Transition Center on May 28, 2009.

Goals of the workshop and reference guide:
Provide accurate information to families of children with special needs and help them navigate the State Department system of services available; and, to provide an opportunity for parents to support one another.

Soon the video presentations will be loaded to this web page, but in the meantime, DVD copies are available for rental by government employees only at the Overseas Briefing Center.
