Job Leads

Subscribers to CTC job leads are usually graduates of the Job Search Program (RV 102).

CTC sends all job leads to all subscribers via e-mail. The subject line of each job lead message will generally state the job title and location so that subscribers may simply delete leads of no interest without opening them.

CTC published more than 3,000 job leads in 2006. To avoid overwhelming their normal e-mail account, many subscribers choose to create an e-mail account solely for this service.

As we have more than 1,000 retirees currently subscribing to this service, we send these e-mails with the subscribers' addresses in the "blind copy" addressee line so recipients will not have several pages of addressees on their copy. The message will appear as though it is addressed to a CTC employee, but, in reality, it will be addressed to all subscribers.

It is the subscriber's responsibility to keep CTC apprised of any e-mail address changes. After receiving five "undeliverable" messages for a subscriber's address, CTC will delete that address from the distribution list.
