On May 5, 2012, the Calvin Coolidge Alumni Association hosted a celebration and lunch to officially present the Calvin Coolidge Greenhouse and Garden, and to show their appreciation for the volunteers' service and the vendors' donations. Attendees got to see the 5 types of gardens that the volunteers and the students created in the schoolyard, which includes a rain garden, a vegetable garden, a memorial garden, and school entry garden and a meadow. Casey Tree Volunteers were on site planting a grove of fruit trees.
