DC Greening Embassy Forum

The DC Greening Embassies Forum is a partnership between the U.S. Department of State and Earth Day Network. Officially launched on Earth Day 2010, the forum meets on a quarterly basis to provide Washington DC-based foreign missions the opportunity to share best practices, challenges and experiences on green facility renovations and sustainable business operations.

League of Green Embassies

The League of Green Embassies is a global network of over seventy diplomatic missions formulating a common agenda for energy efficiency, renewable energy and water conservation. Member embassies aspire to introduce innovative solutions, influence individuals and institutions in host countries and to play an important role in mobilizing public action.

Billion Acts of Green

A Billion Acts of Green is a project of the Earth Day Network. A Billion Acts of Green is a web campaign that invites the public to take small yet significant pledges towards sustainability. Earth Day Network's goal is to register one billion actions by the Earth Summit in Rio in 2012.
