David Adelman presented his credentials to become United States Ambassador to Singapore on April 29, 2010. Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Adelman was a businessman, partner in a large law firm, Georgia State Senator and university instructor. He has been active in many civic and charitable organizations.
Ambassador Adelman received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, master’s from Georgia State University and Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. He has received numerous academic and civic honors throughout his career.
