Assistant Secretary Hill: Travel to Beijing for Six-Party Talks

Assistant Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Christopher Hill traveled to Beijing, China for  three working groups followed by Six-Party head of delegation meetings. Assistant Secretary Hill  met with the energy working group, the denuclearization working group – which is very important – and the Northeast Asian security working group. Then there were bilateral meetings with all of the delegations. He looked forward to meeting with the Japanese delegation in the next couple of days.  Then he had some bilateral meetings over the weekend, including with the DPRK followed by the Six-Party meeting on Monday. Assistant Secretary Hill returned to Washington on March 23rd.
