Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip H. Gordon traveled to Nicosia, Cyprus, on January 19-21, where he met with President Christofias and Turkish Cypriot leader Dervish Eroglu and their advisors. He also met with the UN Secretary General’s Special Adviser on Cyprus, Alexander Downer.
