Travel to Moldova, Bulgaria, and Belgium

Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland traveled to Chisinau, Moldova on March 29, where she met with senior Moldovan Government officials to discuss bilateral and other foreign policy issues, including the United States-Moldova Strategic Dialogue, energy, and economic assistance.

On March 31, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Assistant Secretary Nuland met with senior Bulgarian Government officials to discuss bilateral and regional issues, including our shared commitment to transatlantic values as members of NATO, the development of our economic partnership, and Bulgaria’s energy diversification efforts. She also participated in a roundtable with members of civil society.

On April 1, Assistant Secretary Nuland traveled to Brussels, Belgium, to join Secretary of State John Kerry at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Foreign Ministerial.
