The Innovation Working Group aims to bolster cooperation and share best practices on developing a legal framework for innovative entrepreneurship; developing innovation centers and regional innovative clusters; and supporting commercialization of innovative breakthroughs. The Innovation Working Group includes participation by private sector companies, organizations and universities from both the United States and Russia.

The Innovation Working Group (IWG) of the U.S.-Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission met in Moscow on October 29 at API, a Moscow startup accelerator, for its fourth plenary meeting.
