Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO)

The Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO) is a national, nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization whose mission is to actively support parental choice to empower families and increase quality educational options for Black children. Since its founding in December 1999, BAEO has established a reputation as a national leader for parental choice by providing parents the tools they need to become full participants in their children’s education.

BAEO also advocates, at the local, state and national levels, for the adoption of policies and programs which will provide low-income and working class Black parents with the same educational options available to affluent parents.
