Young Professionals Program
The UNESCO Young Professional Program provides an opportunity for young professionals from nations under represented at UNESCO (such as the U.S.) to gain a career track position within the organization. Fellowships Associated with UNESCO and the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO
U.S. National Commission for UNESCO Laura W. Bush Traveling Fellowship
Recipients of the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO Laura W. Bush Traveling Fellowship have the distinction of receiving the first fellowship named in honor of former First Lady Laura W. Bush. This Fellowship is meant to help U.S. student applicants design and conduct brief work projects in a foreign country related to the mandate of UNESCO. UNESCO-L’OREAL Co-sponsored Fellowship for Young Women in Life Sciences
This UNESCO Fellowship honors young women researchers at the doctoral or postdoctoral level whose promising projects have been accepted by a reputable institution outside their country of origin. These fellowships are awarded to 15 young women from around the world and are worth up to $60,000 each. Find more information here.
