UNESCO Employment, Fellowships, Prizes
UNESCO has periodic and on-going vacancies at its headquarters in Paris, as well as, openings in their field offices and various institutes throughout the world.
The UNESCO Fellowships Program, through the award and administration of fellowships, study and travel grants, aims to: contribute to the enhancement of human resources and national capacity-building in areas that are closely aligned to UNESCO's expected strategic objectives and program priorities; and, increase fellowships co-sponsorship arrangements with interested donors and extra-budgetary funding sources through the Co-Sponsored Fellowships Program.

UNESCO confers a number of prizes to individuals and associations all over the world. Each UNESCO pillar, Education, Natural Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Culture, and Communication and Information, has its own prizes. Each prize awards accomplishments that strengthen and exemplify one or many of UNESCO's goals. Prize nominations and appropriate material should be received by the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO forty days or more before the prize deadline, such that that prize can be reviewed by the Commission.
