Secretary of State Condoleezza Travel to Europe and the Middle East
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice traveled to the United Kingdom, Israel, and the West Bank from May 1 to May 5.  In Israel and the West Bank, she met with senior Israeli and Palestinian officials to discuss progress made on the ground and in the peace process, the situation in Gaza, and the effort underway to achieve agreement this year on the establishment of a Palestinian state, living side by side with Israel in peace and security.
