Secretary Traveling in Middle East With President 
Secretary Rice is traveling with the President and Mrs. Bush to Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt from May 13-18, 2008. The President's visit to Israel celebrates Israel's 60th anniversary and our close ties over the past six decades. [more]

Secretary of State Condoleezza Travel to Europe and the Middle East 
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice traveled to the United Kingdom, Israel, and the West Bank from May 1 to May 5. In Israel and the West Bank, she met with senior Israeli and Palestinian officials to discuss progress made on the ground and in the peace process, the situation in Gaza, and the effort underway to achieve agreement this year on the establishment of a Palestinian state, living side by side with Israel in peace and security.
