Colonel Qadhafi Not Staying in New Jersey

"Well, I think you saw the various statements that came out on Friday. It is safe to say that Colonel Qadhafi will not be staying in New Jersey. I know that there are ongoing discussions between the Libyan mission to the UN and the city of New York regarding appropriate accommodations. U.S. Talks With Libyan Authorities About UNGA Plans
Assistant Secretary Crowley (Aug. 27):
"We have talked to Libyan authorities about their plans for the – for UNGA, and we have expressed the concerns that we have and that the American people have about this. We believe that the Libyans understand those concerns.
