MEPI Participants Now in Jordanian Parliament

Congratulations to Wijdan Al Saket and Mai Abul Samen, participants in the 2002 MEPI program, "Women as Leaders: U.S. Elections and Political Campaigns," on their Nov. 17, 2003, appointment to the new Jordanian Senate by King Abdullah. Ms. Saket has served as President of the Business and Professional Women's Club and Ms. Abul Samen has served as Secretary General of the Jordanian National Forum and the Hashemite Fund for Human Resource Development.
