Kristin Hagerstrom

Kristin Hagerstrom has been in the Foreign Service for 16 years, serving in Lima, Mexico City, Seoul, Rangoon, Nogales, Mexico and in Consular Affairs in Washington. Most recently, she served as a State Department Career Development Officer involved in recruiting Foreign adjunct professor at George Washington University's Service officers for service in Iraq. Before joining the Elliott School, lecturing on national security policy. Foreign Service, she practiced law in Micronesia during the transition from Trust Territory to Federated States. She has a degree in literature from the University of the Americas, Puebla, Mexico and a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. She is originally from Texas.
