AP Soundbite:
(Remarks at a press event with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on Israel’s decision to ease the blockade on goods moving into Gaza).
Special Envoy Mitchell (June 30): "I had a good visit at Kerem Shalom today and we appreciate the changes that have been made. There's been a great deal of progress in terms of permitting additional goods into Gaza and I was assured by your people there that whatever the demand is, the capacity will be there to meet it. And so we think it's an important step that's been taken for which we express our appreciation and we look forward to working with you further in that regard, further steps will be taken in the near future and I look forward of course to continuing our efforts to move forward to a comprehensive peace in the region."
