Date: 07/10/2013 Description: Secretary Kerry Addresses the OAS - State Dept Image

In late May, Vice President Joe Biden set off for Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Brazil, where he highlighted the region's shared economic opportunity and the benefits of increased integration and openness. Check out his visit to a flower farm in Colombia, his remarks in Trinidad and Tobago, and his speech on U.S.-Brazil relations. Days later, Secretary of State John Kerry traveled to Guatemala to lead the U.S. delegation to the 43rd General Assembly of the Organization of American States. Secretary Kerry participated in an open discussion on regional drug policy, met with regional counterparts, and successfully campaigned to elect Professor James Cavallaro as an independent member of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
