Third Summit of the Americas:
Advancing Our Common Agenda


The Third Summit of the Americas was held in Quebec City, Canada, April 20-22, 2001.  This event was of high importance to the United States as it allowed the new U.S. President  to meet with other hemispheric leaders. It also provided a unique opportunity to highlight the region's importance in U.S. foreign policy.
