The Environmental Protection Agency, in partnership with Partners of the Americas, hosted Ministry of Environment representatives from the Brazilian Government to share U.S. policies and experiences on environmental justice in Detroit and New York. The fellows reflected on how the U.S. experience could apply to the situation in Brazil. Overall, the fellows reflected on how environmental justice is a way to ensure greater rights for vulnerable populations.
