A member of the Senior Foreign Service with the rank of Minister Counselor, Joyce Barr was confirmed as the Assistant Secretary for Administration in December of 2011. As A/S, she is responsible for the day-to-day administration of a variety of functions ranging from logistics, acquisitions, maintenance, allowances, overseas schools, records management, privacy programs, the Working Capital Fund and presidential travel.
