Daniel Benaim is a Speechwriter and member of the Policy Planning Staff covering Middle East issues. He joined the State Department in October 2010 as a Speechwriter to the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries. Previously, he was a Professional Staff Member covering Middle East issues on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Speechwriter to Senator John Kerry. He received his BA from Yale and his MA from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
