Amira Valliani joined the Secretary’s Policy Planning Staff in July 2011 as Special Assistant to the Director. Formerly, she covered a wide range of issues at the National Economic Council, including immigration, social enterprise, and clean energy. Amira was also previously a Marketing Analyst at PepsiCo, where she worked on product innovation and strategy, and has spent time working and living in Egypt and Hong Kong. She received her B.A. from Yale University.
