On March 10, Assistant Secretary Brimmer attended a luncheon hosted by Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Shaun Donovan to welcome UN Habitat Executive Director Joan Clos on the first day of his official visit to Washington DC. The luncheon kicked off an afternoon of events, including an interagency roundtable discussion on sustainable urban development issues sponsored by the Assistant Secretary.
