Secretary Rice's Visit to Bulgaria


Sofia, Bulgaria
April 27, 2006

During her visit to Bulgaria April 27-28, Secretary Rice signed a Defense Cooperation Agreement and discussed bilateral and regional issues. She took part in an informal meeting of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Foreign Ministers to discuss preparations for the NATO Summit in Riga, Latvia this November. She also took part in a transatlantic dinner involving the Foreign Ministers of all NATO and EU countries.
