Ms. Kathleen Wu serves as the deputy director of the Office of Economic Growth for the USAID Pakistan Mission. She has been providing initiative, leadership, and technical expertise in a critical priority country for USAID, managing a large and diverse portfolio exceeding $2 billion with an estimated annual budget of $455 million in a wide variety of sectors—from large energy agriculture infrastructure to trade and investment, and fiscal reform.
Ms. Wu joined USAID in 1999 and, for the last twenty years, has worked in the areas of international economics, financial sector reforms, investment climate evaluation, project finance, equity and credit risk analysis, corporate and bank privatization, and trade.
Ms. Wu is a published author and an accomplished professional with extensive knowledge of the development agenda.
