Yolanda Webster emigrated to the U.S. from the Philippines in late 1978. Since then she has traveled and lived in various U.S. states including overseas. For over 22 years, Yolanda has always been in the private sector in the customer service industry in conjunction with Divers Cultural interaction. Ms. Webster is trilingual and has used those talents to interact with diverse cultures in her professional life.

Ms. Webster joined the U.S. State Department in 2003 as logistic coordinator for UNEP/HABITAT representing U.S. Embassy Nairobi, Kenya interacting with host country nationals and the U.S. delegates in the United Nation Compound. Currently Ms. Webster works as an office manager specialist. She worked previously as a consular assistant. She is currently assigned to the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA) and South Central Asian Affairs (SCA) as a support services specialist primarily serving domestic customers and our U.S. Missions. Some of Ms. Webster's responsiblity highlights are to coordinate the Global Chief of Missions Conferences (including the Global Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review (QDDR)(shown in my photo)), as well as the various Department award ceremonies.

Ms. Webster decided to join the Department of State to be a part of the lead foreign affairs agency responsible for formulating and implementing U.S. foreign policy overseas. She has found it a great honor to serve the Department along side her fellow employees.
