Nancy Ledesma is originally from the island of Luzon in the Philippines. After visiting the United States as a tourist for many years, Nancy immigrated to Canada in 1988 and then to the United States in 1990. Nancy worked as a corporate travel agent in Silicon Valley until 2006, when she relocated to the Washington, DC area and joined Carlson Travel Services at the State Department.
In February 2010, Nancy moved to the Fraud Prevention Programs Directorate in Consular Affairs, where today new staff quickly learn she is the most important person to know. As a member of the Analysis, Systems, and Training Division, Nancy provides varied support to a wide range of programs -- from writing budget proposals, to coordinating travel for fraud prevention workshops and conferences, to controlling systems’ access for consular section staff overseas.
Nancy is a dog lover, frequently taking in friends’ dogs for overnight visits.
