Annika Betancourt is an entry-level Foreign Service officer serving in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico in a consular position and is heading to Athens, Greece for an economic assignment this summer.
The daughter of two immigrants, Annika’s parents are Japanese and Colombian, and she was raised in a multicultural, multilingual home in Maryland. Annika received a bachelor’s from the University of Maryland, College Park and a master of science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
