On January 15, the actual date of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birth, U.S. Charge' d'Affaires Christopher Hoh joined the mayor of Tuzla, a Bosnian city with a long tradition of tolerance and multi-cultural co-existence, to unveil a bust of Martin Luther King Jr. donated to Tuzla by the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo. Speeches by both officials emphasized King's principles of nonviolence and the power of the individual to affect change in the development of a just and democratic society.
